Villa Oasis is a private, gated estate in Rancho Santa Fe, one of Southern California's quietest and most private communities. There is no institutional campus and no crowded facility. It is a residential estate behind a gate, with six or fewer residents at a time, so you are never one of a crowd.
After the first 72 hours there are no restrictions on phones or laptops. You can stay in touch with family and keep up with what cannot wait at work while treatment stays the priority. Your one-on-one care is with our medical and clinical team, and your records are protected under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Nothing is shared with an employer, family member or anyone else without your written consent.

Will I have my own room and bathroom?
We have four private rooms and one shared room, and every room has its own private en suite bathroom.
Can I keep my phone and laptop?
Yes. After the first 72 hours there are no restrictions on electronics, so you can stay in touch with family and work.
How long is the program?
Length of stay is set by clinical need. A common course is 28 days, usually about a week of medical detox followed by residential treatment, with the split decided by our clinical team. If you need more time, continued care is private pay and agreed in writing before it begins.
What does it cost, and will insurance help?
Many PPO plans can contribute, including out of network. Some families pay privately and others combine a fixed cash amount with insurance billing. We run a free benefit check and give you the exact numbers in writing before you commit. Verify your benefits here.

Care at Villa Oasis is led by an experienced medical and clinical team under the direction of our Medical Director, a board-certified addiction psychiatrist. Each treatment plan is built around the individual, combining evidence-based therapies with a calm, respectful setting for adults working through substance use and co-occurring concerns.
Many of our counselors bring their own experience of recovery to the work, and clients often tell us that shared understanding makes a difference from the first day.
Healthy Gourmet Meals
The Villa Oasis family includes an award-winning, personal chef that makes delicious nutritionally balanced meals every day. He serves our residents only the finest ingredients in his gourmet meals of free-range poultry, locally grown organic produce, hand cut mid-western beef, and sustainable seafood.
In addition, our accommodations include a pool, spa, sauna, gym, movie theater, meditation gardens and waterfalls. Our guests also have access to San Diego attractions & beaches.
A Treatment Plan
Just For You
Detox is supervised by medical professionals, allowing the body to safely rid itself of addictive substances. Our luxurious environment with private bed & bath help to ease the detox process and provide a comfortable backdrop for a residential stay. We incorporate a multi-disciplinary approach that recognizes each resident’s unique and complex background.
Most clients complete a 28-day program, beginning with medically supervised detox and continuing directly into residential treatment on the same estate, with the same care team. Residential care includes individual, group and family therapy, along with equine therapy and yoga. Every client is evaluated by one of our medical providers at admission and receives an individualized detox plan, with ongoing medical oversight under the direction of our Medical Director, a board-certified addiction psychiatrist. Licensed and credentialed staff are on site around the clock, and medications are used when clinically appropriate to keep clients safe and comfortable throughout withdrawal.
Many clients arrive carrying anxiety, depression, trauma or other mental health concerns alongside substance use. Our clinical team addresses these together from the first day, helping each client stabilize, build practical coping skills and leave with a clear plan for continued care.
