Each resident will have ample time with an individual therapist. This time will be spent discussing personal issues and creating action plans for recovery and post-treatment.

    Group Therapy

We are proud to offer six hours of group therapy every day. This therapy will allow our residents to discuss their issues in a supervised, comfortable environment. Our medical staff will direct the conversation and allow each resident to discuss their own situation. The group will then discuss their experiences and how they relate to each other.

What is a typical day at Villa Oasis San Diego?

We offer a fully structured day to all residents. Our goal is to create a healing environment where time is focused on addiction recovery. There are three meals a day, group sessions, and individual therapy. The entire program revolves around the six individual residents. There is also time given to holistic treatments that help to round out the experience.

Can I continue my life while in treatment?

For some of our residents, it may be impossible to leave pieces of their life at the door. These individuals can spend a portion of their day utilizing technology to connect with necessary sources. Often, busy executives cannot leave their businesses behind. It is important to us that these people have time to spend on those pieces that cannot be left by the wayside during treatment.

Does Villa Oasis San Diego cover dual diagnosis?

There are a number of mental and behavioral diagnoses we work with in a dual-diagnosis situation. These are very important to explore in treatment as they may contribute to the overall issues a person entering treatment is struggling with. These include:

    • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
    • Major depressive disorder
    • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
    • Generalized anxiety
    • Social anxiety

    What is your relapse policy?

If a resident leaves our facility and does unfortunately relapse, we are prepared to have them return to our program. It is our hope that we provide every possible avenue for healing. When substance use disorder (SUD) continues to be a problem, alumni are welcomed back with open arms.
